The Bayimba Cultural Foundation,founded in 2006 in Kampala has a vision to be a vibrant creative arts Industry in Uganda that is professional,creative and viable and contributes to social and economic development in Uganda and East Africa.The official festival begins on 19th September so come and support the Arts in Kampala.Among the artists performing,I am soooo looking forward to having a one on one with Xenson..Uganda's finest writer,visual artist,fashion designer,musician,actor...damn! ain't that talent?

Art and About in Dares SalaamI said goodbye to Dar on Thursday...my girls made me feel like a real Malkia!!! Thanks Remmy,Irene,Penzi me loves..I'm still swimming in your love and humming to the songs we enjoyed off key!!!

I took this first picture at The Persian shop at The Kilimanjaro Kempinsky.The owner boasts of the finest hand made rugs in Dar.Carpets,scarfs,oaktree gift containers etc..there's lots to see and rush for a discount this Ramadan.This little hand made bag was calling!!!

And then,i went to pick afew gifts for friends!!! This lady-Ann is at the entrance of Slipway..she has the finest of Masai crafts,calabash,little money purses..please make a stop over on your way to the slipway...
