Racist hotels not welcome in our world of oneness @ Marina Bay Singapore!

Hey lovers of all things beautiful,

I cannot begin to explain how appalling this story goes and how human beings running a business can even attempt to act this way!

Beautiful people, lets kick out this ugly act of racism from our world and lift each other up in order to discover who we rally are!

This is a story from a pal, who had her business partner kicked out of a hotel because of her skin color.

“Extreamly Rascist to Black Folk At Marina Bay Sands”
1 of 5 stars
I personally have never been to Singapore but my business partner Janat Mugisha and her boyfriend Faizal Nalumenya were interested in spending sometime in the Marina Bay Sands.
They arrived 21 June 2013 and were to leave on 24th June 2013. There check in lobby was Tower 1 Lobby and they paid $1,656.03 inclusive of taxes.

On arrival to the hotel, the people at the clearing desk expressed shock on their faces that the couple was booked in the hotel. Then they asked them for their names which they gave them. Then they asked them for their booking reference which they gave them. The person clearing them went off for a spell and asked them to wait in some corner not even honoring them with a decent seat in the lobby. In the mean time white guests kept coming in and they kept being freshly booked into the hotel and my business partner and the boyfriend were watching while these folks were being booked in so fast and so smoothly while they were huddled in a corner like beggars after their exhausting flight from Malaysia.
You should have seen the shock on their faces when the hotel personnel came to them and told them that the hotel that has been letting in new walk in guests in their sight is fully booked. Janat thought she had been punched in the nose with the shock she got knowing that this was a definite racist move. To add insult to injury they refunded all my friends' money and told them there is no place for them in the Marina Bay Sands. There was a Japanese lady on your staff who witnessed all this and the human side of her took pity on my two friends. She kindly soothed them and if am to quote her words precisely as Janat narrated them to me, the lady said "What they have done to you is very wrong" she took them to the Marina Mandarin where they were treated with utmost hospitality. The Japanese lady from that hotel who helped them should be the only person to manage that hotel if they still want to claim the international standards they brag about in their marketing campaigns on the internet. Now we understand if they don't want blacks in their hotel but please they should put it in their marketing campaign clearly. They should not lure us to their hotel pretending that all human beings are welcome yet they desire a specific skin type of clients. They should call all the global banks and their bankers and ask them to automatically stop black people's credit cards from releasing funds to their hotel. If that is impossible then they should please stop booking people online without requesting for their photos so that if they view that the photo is black then they can automatically decline that booking. They cannot let us fly from whatever corner of the world and with our exhaustion then decide that we are too black for their hotel.
Anyway Janat went back to her hotel room in the Marina Mandarin and questioned the maker for why she was created black. I grew up here in Uganda the pearl of Africa and I have always thought that the best gift the maker gave me is my black beauty. Goodness me, Janat is one of the most beautiful blacks I have ever seen and that lousy personnel made her question her beauty?
In the pearl of Africa we welcome everyone, we know our rights and we are ranked the most hospitable country in the whole world. We do not expect less from the people in Singapore when we visit.
Janat came home and wrote an email to the hotel and she was not dignified with even a reply of acknowledgement of receipt. I also feel it was a waste of time to write to write to them but I gave it a try to give them a second chance to redeem themselves. I just read about the Indian couple they treated like dirt on their honey moon on trip advisor and after seeing my social media campaign a friend from Fuji wrote in to say Marina Bay Sands had been racist and a friend from Austrialia Else Smith has a friend from fuji black like me and Janat had also fallen prey to their racism.
Listen good to me right now the staff at Marina Bay Sands, officially post everywhere that blacks are not allowed but for as long as you claim you are an international hotel for all we will not tolerate racist nonsense.
Write an apology to Janat and Faizal and please train your staff, guide them and educate them or else I promise you with all that we are, as blacks we will go on a campaign so hard you will most definitely find yourselves out of business. I run one of the best PR firms in East Africa, Janat is an esteemed Business woman in Uganda and Sudan, between us, our resources, networks and connections we can run a good campaign that will bring Marina Bay Sands to its knees.
The year 2012 I was working with the YWCA Alaska which works to eliminate racism and empower women. I was posted there because I was awarded by the state department for my great work in East Africa. I don't give idle threats. Marina Bay Sands has to do right by Janat and Faizal.
