Thoughts On Paper...Randoms

Wednesday (read Mid week) usually determines how the weekend will go. Always hopeful and craving to squeeze out the best out of it though. Its Wednesday and this blank sheet of paper is starring at me...now am feeling sorry for all the scribbles and illustrations he is going to have in a few minutes...Random things # Thoughts! Peace. What if I wrote on peace? there is so much noise coming from different activities around . They surround and even attempt to choke my thoughts. I need to focus and beat that monster noise and turn it into that much needed peace...piece of cake since I can still feel stillness speak. Stillness from within. Now Peace is attained from within.Harmony...all the rest is the face of the enemy of Peace...just search within...search within!
Peace #People Persons considered as a whole... Personally, I am a firm believer of Karma. Everything we have ever done and everyone we have ever encountered in our waking life was predestined by a higher power. But we cannot know unless we decipher the purpose of the meeting. It is in such cases that one ought to remain conscious. It is also important to see things through the eyes of now! Eckhart Tolle speaks directly to this mountain through his book the power of Now. And I have come to learn that some people come around to stay, some will go,some will hurt you, others? you'll never know. BUT! always remember that nobody said it would be easy...take it with a inch of lightness, memory, consciousness and never forget Karma!
Karma #3 Possessions My best friend recently reminded me that where my treasure is,the heart will be. Yes yes this is so true. She also reminded me to know exactly who I am not measure my worth by my belongings...thoughts. Paulo Coelho speaks clearly about this in his book the Alchemist. We learn that this lad wanted in completely. He went through huddles, overcame a lot of mountains (Goliath) to truly find himself. Now,I also know a story about this man who was so greedy he wanted everything and anything. He had a store filled with anything you can imagine. One day, termites infested his possessions and guess what he was left with..yes you guessed right! So,make sure you are going to store your treasures were your heart is. Do not allow for termites to even come close.Ditto!
Ok...that's just my 2 cents worth...something to think about. Wishing you peace and love, Esi

Hi lovers...uhm guys and gals. Peggy is having me for playing ping pong with you! One day you are lovers, the next you are not! Ha ha...don't get me wrong. I love you to bits (well at least there's the feeling of love as I write) Never mind! Peggy...I mean. Oh well. The Academy Awards were great. Loved the winners (even the losers) as everyone there was victorious. Now today I have a great poem for you. I have been reading on creativity by Einstein and Da Vinci and Shakespeare..all the stars out there who helped shape the world in different aspects. And I have learned a thing or two!-That you can always emulate them, copy their work and paste...share it with the world. Ok.back to the poem. From my favorite Sufi Poet Rumi...master of all things loving. Inspirational and very grounded/easy read and understanding...what can I say??? sooooooo much.
Rumi The drum of the realization of the promise is beating, we are sweeping the road to the sky. Your joy is here today, what remains for tomorrow? The armies of the day have chased the army of the night, Heaven and earth are filled with purity and light. Oh! joy for he who has escaped from this world of perfumes and color! For beyond these colors and these perfumes, these are other colors in the heart and the soul. Oh! joy for this soul and this heart who have escaped the earth of water and clay, Although this water and this clay contain the hearth of the philosophical stone.

The Oscars

Ok. The 84th Academy Awards finally came and all we were looking at were the outfits on the red carpet. Each of the stars have probably now heard of Joan Rivers so they were dressed to the nines. Loved everything about this red carpet event. And now lovers,in pictures...
Meryl Streep and Jean Dujardin
Best dressed couple Brad and Angelina
yep yep!
George Clooney and Stacy Keibler

Of Music

Music...The art or science of combining vocal or instrumental sounds (or both) to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion.

It is amazing how sounds can create a mood. I love the sweet melodies of flute in the morning and love music in general.

What touches me mostly about a song is the words...words spoken in song.

We are blessed to have one such person, who has the ability to put words together and create a beautiful rhythm that touches the soul.Tshila

She is a dynamic musician with a good cause. Her genre of music is hip-hop and a bit of traditional influences. We all love her.

Tshila sings with a band that she often alters but always gets it right with the musicians.

Recently, she managed to raise a lot of money for the HIV/AIDS victims through the hope and healing through music do.

She ius a multi talented person with a big heart. A poet, writer and painter...oh and a software engineer...she has made an impact on Ugandan youth through her music and collabos together with Bataka squad.

This is she and we are all proud of her.
