Word got to us that Kampala fashionista Judith Heard together with her design partner launched a clothing line somewhere in the US. Well, I was as excited as any African fashion lover to hear of another label from a young trend setter. We at Zawadi Eye ! wish you well JH and company.

Ps. The line/launch is called 2African girls-pssss...somebody email me the right details because the images were simply amazing. Loved the cuts,style-quite contemporary with a fusion blend.

A few years ago I was caught up in the head wrap frenzy! I wore them in all shapes,colors and sizes. Boy did I rock and believe me they so felt like a part of me! but somehow along the way we all got caught up in bangs and fringes and the beautiful head wraps that well represented our mamaland had to go to shelf.

Not anymore my head wrap loving sis's they are back with a bang and am sooooo looking forward to reclaim my spot on this one!

Hey lovers of all things beautiful,

Ciao ciao! This year has brought in amazing styles and colors we have not seen before. First off, the color emerald, which is the color of the year really looks good on my chocolate  skin. This is my year!

Secondly, I like the bold statements in all forms. The earrings, necklaces and bracelets just add a little more color to our fab lives and I can say life rocks!

At Zawadi eye! we have put together an emerald collection which will be unveiled in March. 6 dresses that would simply blow your mind away.

I am also on a personal level with my full time job involved in a bit of travel to various districts in the country to improve on communication skills and build confidence among 100 participants from the Infectious Diseases Institute . It seems to be working well and I am learning a lot from them. Life is beautiful in the end.
