Fusion.

So there was no Shoe party. But I guess you all enjoyed your shoes over the weekend.

My second love is fusion!

I just like the dresses that I make...a blend of African fabric and a Western touch. Good stuff.

It makes me hold my head up and enjoy the best of both worlds.

Chaos!

I dislike those days, going out of town with the sun way up into a rainy city.It sucks! It sucks that I can't be bothered to check the forecast..and it double sucks that its pouring!

Well,we can't avoid such things all the time so this is what one requires just in case you think the weather is uncertain on the other side...

<i>Very nice if you carry a scarf in your bag if you do not know what the weather is like on the other side!

A tiny umbrella will also do!

If you do not mind, just drop in a handy T-shirt. You never know...

Color me beautiful...

I just read that color is energy and that if you are in tune with your colors, then you are bound to look dynamic.

Color coordination does not only make you look good but also gives an organized image to one.

Everyday when you put together elements of an attire, your choices to mix and match them can make the greatest impression on others so go ahead and mix in style.

It is very important to have a wheel. That way,you can easily determine how to coordinate colors.

Even guys ought to nail it if they want to appear put together.

Trick is to wear what best defines you...

Street chic...

Here's to every unconventional fashionista who do things their way and set trends...

I particularly love the Individual story that clothes tell about a person and seeing an authentic wearer of their own style is simply amazing.

Now here is a tip on how you can nail it with your own style and score big on the streets...
...Always know who you are and let your clothes tell a story... You want to express yourself in the most transparent way and this often reflects on the type of clothing one wears...hey...this stretches further to the color choice, fitting, length etc...

Our Heritage...Bark Cloth!

I was mesmerized just reading about Ugandan bark cloth also known as Olubugo and how it has been preserved and used. This isa very special material and is one of the evolution wonders of Uganda! From traditional limitations to high end fashion designs, this trend is going strong!

Initially, all we ever heard about this Olubugo was the fact that traditional healers wore it during any ceremony and we all connected it or limited it to traditional but boy are we wrong!

I have seen beautiful designs from the bark cloth...from book covers to accessories to creative designs...wow... am swimming in an ocean of possibilities with my bark cloth and a head of ideas..jump in!

There a a variety of ways in which the bark cloth have played a huge role in art...depends on how creative one gets...
